Pepp’roni Pizza Sliders

There’s no party like a pepp’roni party, so bake this up for your next big night in! First, grab a pack of dinner rolls and slice the whole loaf horizontally to make one big bottom bun in a baking dish, then spread with marinara, and smother with Moocho Mozzarella Style Shreds. Now for the best part – layer on a whole pack of our zippy Pepp’roni slices, then go in with ANOTHER pack of shreds and a sprinkle of oregano. Pop on the top, brush with vegan garlic butter, and bake until you’ve reached golden, gooey, garlicky, glistening, GLORIOUSNESS. Good luck sharing! Makes 6 servings

what you’ll need:

2 tablespoons vegan butter, melted
1 garlic clove, minced
16 vegan dinner rolls (in a packaged loaf, not individual)
1 cup jarred marinara
2 packages Moocho Mozzarella Style Shreds, divided
1 teaspoon oregano or Italian seasoning
1 package Tofurky Pepp’roni
1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley

how to make:

  1. Preheat oven to 375˚F. Lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a small bowl, combine melted butter and garlic. Set aside.
  3. Slice the loaf of dinner rolls, horizontally (do not separate individual rolls). Place bottom half of loaf in prepared pan, and evenly spread with marinara. Sprinkle a pack of shreds on top. Layer on Pepp’roni. Sprinkle with another pack of shreds over top, and evenly sprinkle with oregano. Cap with the top half of rolls.
  4. Brush top of rolls with garlic butter. Bake until golden brown and cheese has melted, about 15-20 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley, and serve immediately.
