Ham & Cheese Roll Ups

12 roll ups (about 4 servings)

There’s something adorable about these cheesy roll ups. They have all the charm of a fancy French pastry, but they’re understated enough to be part of a weeknight dinner. Serve them with a big salad, a bowl of tomato soup, or as an appetizer at your next shindig.

 

 

what you’ll need:

1 sheet vegan puff pastry, thawed
3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 cup shredded vegan Cheddar
1 package Tofurky Smoked Ham Deli Slices
1 tablespoon minced fresh thyme leaves

how to make:

  1. Preheat oven to 400℉. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. On a lightly-floured countertop roll out puff pastry just enough to smooth out creases. Spread with mustard to the edges, and evenly top with Cheddar, deli slices, and thyme, leaving a 1” border on one of the short sides.
  3. Roll up pastry so the 1” border is the last part being rolled up. Press gently to seal. Cut into ¾” thick rounds and place on baking sheet, leaving a little space between them.
  4. Bake until browned and cheese is melted, about 15 minutes. Serve immediately.
