DIY Chick’n Taco Party

Go ahead, be spontaneous and invite the whole crew over! Will there be food? Sure! That’s a problem for future you to figure out, right? Well, future you has a new best friend- our DIY Chick’n Taco Party! Armed with any and all packs of our plant-based chick’n, your favorite pantry ingredients, and a few fresh veggies, you’ll be ready to rock when the doorbell rings. Past you and future you, what an awesome team- keep those Tofurky Chick’n tacos coming! Makes 8-12 servings

what you’ll need:

1 package Tofurky Lightly Seasoned Chick’n
1 package taco seasoning mix
1 package Tofurky BBQ Chick’n
1 package Tofurky Sesame Garlic Chick’n
1 jar salsa 1 tub vegan sour cream
2 packages Moocho Fiesta Style Shreds
3 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
3 ripe avocados, sliced
2 Romatomatoes, chopped
2 limes, cut into wedges
1 cup sliced black olives
1 bunch cilantro, chopped
1 bunch green onions, sliced
1 small red onion, diced
1 package crunchy taco shells
1 package vegan flour tortillas, taco size

how to make:

  1. Preheat oven to 375˚F.
  2. Prepare Lightly Seasoned Chick’n with taco seasoning according to package instructions. Warm the other chick’n in the microwave or stovetop according to package instructions.
  3. Prepare small bowls of salsa and vegan sour cream, then arrange along with dishes of all other toppings (shreds, lettuce, avocado, tomato, lime, olives, cilantro, green onions, and red onion) to make a deliciously colorful display.
  4. On a baking sheet, lay crunchy taco shells and bake for 3-5 minutes.
  5. Wrap flour tortillas in damp paper towels and microwave ten seconds at a time until warm and steamy
