Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are the Nation’s leading manufacturer of plant-based proteins and are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our accounting team. This position will be responsible for accurately invoicing customers and receipt of all incoming payments.

This position will be responsible for accurately invoicing customers and receipt of all incoming payments. The successful candidate will report to and work closely with our Accounting Manager. What you’ll do:

  • Post cash receipts/apply customer payments daily.
  • Research and reconcile deductions and discrepancies.
  • Create customer invoices including timely billing for EDI customers.
  • Adjust accounts as needed.
  • Collect on past-due customer accounts.
  • Assists Financial Team as necessary.
  • Maintain all accounts receivable reports, spreadsheets and files.
  • Makes post office deliveries.

What skills and education you’ll need:

  • 1 or more years in related experience
  • Associate degree in accounting preferred

Warehouse Receiving Clerk

We currently have an opening for a full-time Warehouse Receiving Clerk. You'll report to our Warehouse Supervisor. We'd expect you to thrive in a dynamic environment, where hard work and having fun are encouraged.

What you’ll do:

The Warehouse Receiving Clerk is responsible for accurately reading receiving documentation, receiving goods into our computerized ERP system and documenting storage locations and inventory counts. Assists with dock scheduling and truck unloading when needed. Responsible for correctly tracking, moving and managing inventory when receiving using both hand-held guns and computers.

  • Reads detailed packing slips, BOL, pallet labels and other shipping documents to ensure item, quality, quantity accuracy.
  • Compares goods received against Purchase Order and accurately receives, labels and moves inventory to correct locations in ERP system according to company policy.
  • Communicates with carriers to schedule dock appointments for incoming deliveries in accordance with the Purchase Order due schedule.
  • Reads work order or follows oral instruction to ascertain materials and containers to be picked, split and transferred.
  • Accurately documents inventory location in ERP and assists with inventory counts.

What skills and education you’ll need:

• Possess a high school diploma or GED
• Forklift and hand truck experience
• A base knowledge and comfort level with computers and inventory management software systems is preferred

Maintenance Technicians

In this role you will join a team of technicians responsible for equipment repair, updates and preventative maintenance in our manufacturing environment. This is a full-time position, reporting to our Maintenance Manager.

In this role you will join a team of technicians responsible for equipment repair, updates and preventative maintenance in our manufacturing environment. This is a full-time position, reporting to our Maintenance Manager.

Your skills will be employed in our new state of the art LEED platinum processing facility located in beautiful Hood River, OR. What you’ll do:

  • Preventative maintenance, maintenance repairs and troubleshooting of plant equipment within the areas of mechanical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems and control circuitry.
  • Interact with Vendors/Contractors during equipment installs and troubleshooting.
  • Use tools such as basic hand tools, machine shop equipment, precision measuring instruments, Volt/Ohm meters, amp meters, cutting and welding equipment in a safe and effective manner.
  • Complete assigned work orders and PM tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Work with members of the maintenance department to keep equipment and facility running smoothly and safely.
  • Identify equipment improvement opportunities to increase operation effectiveness and efficiencies.
  • Operate all production equipment to perform functional operating checks and ensure work was performed as required.
  • Must be able to work independently and in multi-department teams.
  • Present an open and friendly attitude toward all employees.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust priorities.
  • Safety first mindset.

What skills and education you’ll need:

  • Possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 5 years maintenance experience required.
  • Possess basic computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft office and computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical prints.
  • Experience working with packaging, thermoform, and food processing equipment and its support equipment such as dryers, loaders, conveying systems and facilities is preferred.
  • Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), variable frequency drives and instrumentation is preferred.
