Classic Turk’y and Swiss on Rye
Sometimes the classics are classic for a reason. It’s hard to beat a homemade Turk’y sammy piled high with Roasted Turk’y Deli Slices, crisp iceberg lettuce, juicy tomato slices, and vegan Swiss all atop a hearty marble rye. For extra deliciosity, toast your rye bread for a few seconds before spreadin’ on the vegan mayo.
Makes 2 servings
what you’ll need:
4 slices marble rye bread
¼ cup vegan mayonnaise
4 slices vegan Swiss-style cheese
1 package Tofurky Next-Gen Roasted Turk’y Deli Slices
Iceberg lettuce, tomato slices, and pickle slices to taste
how to make:
1. Spread each slice of bread with 2 tablespoons mayonnaise.
2. On each bottom slice of bread, evenly layer on cheese followed by deli slices, lettuce, tomato, and pickles.
3. Top each sandwich with the remaining slices of bread, cut in half, and serve.
