
Summer Hot Dog Recipe
Makes 8 servings
what you’ll need:
1 cup prepared vegan baked beans
1 cup vegan cheddar shreds
½ cup diced yellow onion
8 hot dog buns, toasted
1 package Tofurky® Hot Dogs or Jumbo Dogs
how to make:
1. Grill hot dogs according to package directions. Remove from grill, slice lengthwise about ⅔ of the way through (without cutting all the way in half), and fill with cheddar shreds. Place back on the grill, cover, and cook until shreds are melted, about 2 minutes.
2. In a small pot over medium heat, warm beans until hot, about 4-5 minutes.
3. Place each hot dog in a toasted bun and top with baked beans and onions. If desired, add a little fresh minced jalapeno.

that looks yum. I’d like a mexican fiesta dog with cheddar daya cheese, nacho chips (crunched), salsa verde, shredded lettuce (just a bit) & veggie mayo. Arrriba!
