Pizza Dogs

Hot dogs and pizza collide in this fun finger food that’s perfect for a party or to pop in a lunch box. Bring your kids into the kitchen to help roll out the dough, brush the oil, and sprinkle on the oregano!

Makes 8 servings

what you’ll need:

16 ounces refrigerated pizza dough
½ cup Daiya Mozzarella Style Shreds, divided
1 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon oregano
1 cup marinara sauce, divided for serving
1 package Tofurky® Hot Dogs

how to make:

1. Preheat oven to 425˚F. Lightly grease a large baking sheet.
2. Gently flatten dough on a lightly floured work surface, sprinkle with the cheese shreds, and knead until shreds are fully incorporated. Divide dough into 8 equal portions. With the palms of your hands, roll out each piece of dough into a rope about 2 feet long. Wrap a rope of dough around each hotdog in a spiral pattern. Pinch ends of dough together on the bottom side of each hotdog to seal.
3. Place pizza dogs on prepared baking sheet, brush with oil, and sprinkle with oregano. Place on prepared baking sheet and bake until golden, about 15-18 minutes.
4.
Serve with warm marinara sauce for dipping.
