CONVENTIONAL
OVEN METHOD
This method produces a nice brown roast on the outside, juicy
on the inside.

hours prior to cooking. Roll can be kept refrigerated
(40 degrees F or less) for
7 days prior to serving.
- Prepare the following baste: one part
orange juice, one part soy sauce and ½ part brown
sugar or other sweetener.
- Place thawed roll on large sheet of tin foil.
- Pour baste over entire roll and wrap TIGHTLY.
- Place in preheated 300F oven
- Bake for 2 hours. Check center of roll to see if
it is hot in center. If not, wrap back up and
return to oven.
- When done slice into thin slices using a serrated
bread knife.
- Best served with a homemade vegetarian or vegan
gravy.
STEAM COOK METHOD
If pressed for time, this works fine as well. Seat Tofurky
Roll in a boil-able, heat stable plastic wrapper.
- Put thawed 6 pound Stuffed Tofurky Roll into
steam oven.
- Steam 20 minutes, probe with thermometer
to see if internal temperature is at least 120F. If not,
cook
longer.
- Unwrap carefully from bag (hot!). Slice
with serrated bread knife and serve with homemade vegetarian or vegan gravy.
